Inventory System of Critical Components of Machines Based on Failure Rate

Abstract

In manufacturing companies, machinery is a factor that really influences the production process. As time goes by, the function of reliability and engine breakdown can be reduced if used continuously so as to cause damage to the engine components. Therefore, the company must determine a component inventory system that can ensure that the component is always available when needed so that it does not cause a large total cost. This study applies the inventory method Q. By applying the inventory method Q, optimal ordering value Q and reorder point r can be determined.
